Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter, also known as Ari Lennox, a Washington, D.C.-based American singer/songwriter, was signed as Dreamville Records' first female artist on Dreamville Records by J. Cole. The first single, Pho on October 21 2016, was released through Dreamville Records. She began to gain fame. Shea Butter Baby released her first studio album 7 May 2019. Ari Lennox has released her music online since 2012, with the release of her debut mixtape "Five Finger Discount" and her EP Ariography. The year 2014 saw Ari Lennox release her own single Bound, as well as her self-released mixtape Five Finger Discount. The 21st day of July, the 21st of July in 2015 Omen was featured on Elephant Eyes the track Sweat It Out. J. Cole, who was part of the Dreamville team at the time was interested in having her work on Rihanna references. On the 8th of December that she had signed with Dreamville Records. In the release album Revenge of the Dreamers II She was on the song Backseat along with Cozz. The singer released Pho, her debut album on October 21, 2016. Ari Lennox performed the song Change by J. Cole as well as being an opener on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017 in which she was accompanied by EarthGang. In 2018, Ari Lennox appeared on two tracks with EarthGang and EarthGang, on Nothing but the Best, and Bas, on Icarus. Ari Lennox dropped her first song Whipped Cream from Shea Butter Baby on July 16. A music clip was released, followed by a music video September. Then on November 9 the singer released two new singles, 40 Shades of Choke as well as Grampa. On November 13, she released two additional singles, titled No One and Pdigree. She appeared with Cole in the Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby, on November 16th, and released the song as a single by herself on her debut album. The 20th of February, 2019 a music video was released for the song. It already has nearly three million views on YouTube within the initial week. In December of 2018 she performed on The From East Atlanta With Love Tour featuring 6LACK.
